BetterReviews respects your privacy and only collects data necessary for the bot to function.
BetterReviews may store server IDs, channel IDs, role IDs, configuration settings such as categories and review mode, and other data required for server setup.
In Staff Mode, the bot may store voter IDs, staff member IDs, rating values, optional feedback text, and timestamps.
Standard reviews are not stored by the bot after they are sent. They are only posted to the configured Discord channel and are not tracked by the system afterward.
Stored data is used only to provide core functionality such as server configuration, staff voting, and related system features.
Data is not automatically deleted when the bot leaves a server.
Users or server owners can request deletion of their data. Data removal is handled manually by the developer.
BetterReviews uses Discord’s API and may interact with services such as top.gg for vote-based features.
The bot uses privileged intents such as Message Content and Server Members strictly to provide its functionality.
We do not sell, share, or distribute your data to third parties.
We take reasonable steps to protect stored data, but absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
